Summary This position will provide a multitude of services such as performing a variety of complex bookkeeping, accounting, and tasks. The Financial Reporting Analyst will be expected to apply US GAAP to the preparation and compilation of financial statements, completeness of monthly transactions, coordination with audit activities, and contribution to company’s compliances of Sarbanes Oxley. Location and Schedule The Financial Reporting Analyst will report on-site at our Sugar Land, Texas location Monday through Friday with possibility of a hybrid environment after initial months. Job Duties
  • Assist Senior Accounting Manager in preparing external reports, such as 10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, etc.
  • Special projects involving improvement or enhancements of accounting system and internal control.
  • Review or perform cut off procedures in revenues or expenses cycles as needed
  • Perform various financial reports, budgets, forecasting, and ad hoc analysis.
  • Prepare Weekly Revenue Projection and Financial Projections report for senior management.
  • Review and post journal entries/transactions from sub ledger, such as Accounts Payable journal entries.
  • Assist Senior Accounting Manager in internal accounting reporting, monthly close.
  • Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliation, such as bank account reconciliation.
  • Prepare tax reports.
  • Fixed Assets and Intangible Assets Management.
  • Assist Senior Accounting Manager or Controller in various tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
  • 5+ years experience in accounting capacity is required.
  • 3+ years experience in audit experience with Big 4 Accounting firms is a big plus.
  • Experience with SAP ERP is preferred.
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform diligent, analytical, and meticulous financial analysis.
  • Quick learner with proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially advanced MS Excel and database tools skills are required.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize and meet tight deadlines.
  • Adaptive to change and strong working ethics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Extended work hours, including weekends, possibly required during month end periods.

Summary The Accounting Manager is a key leader of the Finance & Accounting department, bringing experience in managing a public company’s SEC/External reporting function. The manager is also responsible for managing all financial reports that support the statutory requirements of external consolidated financial statements as well as internal planning. Job Responsibilities Accounting and Reporting
  • Oversee and manage the preparation of SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, 8-K, etc.) and all underlying supporting schedules and calculations.
  • Review iXRBL tagging associated with quarterly and annual SEC filings to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate all aspects (including footnote, MD&A, and risk factors disclosure) of the Company’s quarterly and annual filings with SEC; prepares US GAAP Disclosure and SEC checklists.
  • Apply technical accounting expertise (GAAP, SEC bonuses, etc.) when researching technical accounting solutions and writing memos.
  • Assist with monthly closing cycles, including bank account reconciliation.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statement packages, including multi-entity elimination and consolidation analysis.
  • Assist in income tax calculation relating to ASC718 analysis.
  • Filing of various government and local surveys and regulatory reports as needed.
Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Manage weekly revenue and gross margin forecast reports.
  • Assist with annual financial budget planning processes from scratch for worldwide locations; provide forecast material for earning guidance.
  • Conduct in-depth periodic financial performance reviews, identify red flags of abnormal ratio changes, and provide additional transparency/business insights for management alert.
  • Provide transfer pricing transactional analysis and propose necessary pricing policy change if necessary.
Compliance
  • Coordinate and assist with quarterly reviews and annual audits with external auditors.
  • Support banking audits and internal control activities.
  • Process Improvement with Technology
  • Lead projects/process improvements across the organization; able to quickly grasp new technical skills.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
  • At least 5 years in public companies’ financial reporting is required, additional FP&A experience is preferred
  • License of Certified Public Accountant and robust knowledge of US GAAP required
  • Public company and SEC registrant experience is preferred
  • Prior management experience is preferred
  • Working knowledge of all aspects of financial analysis and management required
  • SAP and BPC knowledge and experience are a plus
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage a varied and diverse workload while ensuring accuracy and timeliness with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to continuous process streamlining and improvement

  • Defines project needs for cost control in accordance with  contractual requirements, objectives, and procedures.

Qualifications and Skills Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university and 13 years of relative work experience the home office and/ or field capacity for a major EPC firm (Bechtel experience preferred) with experience on large projects. In lieu of a degree, 19 years of related work experience is required.
  • Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing cost engineering functions, which include cost estimating, cost control, and cost analysis, in the field and the home office.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications with proficiency in several basic software applications. ECOSYS and PowerBI skills preferred.
  • Experience on Earned Value Management and Value of Work Done principals preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated skill in management, supervisory, and personnel administrative functions.

Position Summary Plans and conducts independent work in the Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) Engineering discipline within the Oil, Gas and Chemicals Business Unit  requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, application and adaptation of engineering techniques, procedures and criteria Responsibilities
  • Plans, schedules, conducts, and coordinates detailed phases of engineering work for the Oil, Gas and Chemicals Business Unit in the Civil, Structural and Architectural (CSA) Engineering discipline assigned to a  project or staff group.  Performs work that involves conventional engineering practice associated  with civil site development design activities but may include complex features such as resolving conflicting design requirements, unsuitability of conventional materials and/or difficult coordination requirements.
  • Performs work using Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs) and appropriate 2-D and 3-D Computer Aided Drafting & Design (CADD)tools.

Job Knowledge
  • Knowledge of discipline engineering techniques, the design of engineered systems, and engineering and design calculations.
  • Experience in preparation and checking of civil site development design deliverables (concepts, drawings, calculations and quantities) for site layout, site drainage,  rough grading, finish grading, rigid and flexible pavements,  railroad crossings, storm water and sanitary systems, fencing, underground utilities services and soil retention and stabilization structures.
  • Understanding of  the application of Engineering Department Procedures and  relevant Bechtel design guides.  Broad knowledge of the application of engineering to plant constructability as applied to construction methods and materials.
  • Knowledge of current computer applications for engineering and design including appropriate knowledge of 2-D and 3-D CADD, and relevant Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs) to perform the work. These include Bentley MicroStation, InRoads, CulvertMaster, FlowMaster, CivilStorm, Intergraph Smart3D or equivalent applications currently in use in the industry.
  • Understanding of engineering planning and control methods including computerized methods.
  • Understanding of the roles played by other departments on projects including basic construction practices and the economics involved.
  • Understanding of industry or regulatory codes and standards and design criteria pertinent to the Civil Engineering discipline such as those developed by AASHTO, ACI, ASTM, Asphalt Institute, PCA etc .

Qualifications and Skills Basic Qualifications
  • A recognized Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university, with 8+ years relevant experience.
  • A professional license in an appropriate engineering discipline from a recognized licensing board, AND
  • Practical work experience in design engineering or relevant equivalent experience in allied types of engineering sufficient to demonstrate competence as a trained engineer.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Specific experience in planning and executing greenfield or brownfield projects in one or more of the following market segments:
  • Natural gas processing including liquefaction and regasification
  • Coal, gas or biomass to chemicals such as methanol and ammonia
  • Petrochemicals such as HDPE, LDPE, MEG, PET, PTA, PVC and others
  • Carbon capture and sequestration
  • Solar and/or combined cycle power plants
  • Hydrogen value chain including reforming, liquefaction, transportation and fueling stations
  • Offshore and onshore pipelines
  • Desalination, raw water, demineralized water and waste water treatment plants
  • Familiarity with current process technologies and licensors associated with the above.
Additional Qualifications
  • Broad working knowledge of precedents in the specialty area, the principles and practices of related technical areas and of coordinating work with other technical disciplines.
  • Knowledgeable of and performs standard discipline engineering activities on projects of relatively small size and complexity within the business line with minimal technical oversight.

  • Business Relationships: Develops relationships with and frequently performs site visits to evaluate premier accommodation, transportation, event, dining and entertainment venues in key cities with high-level awareness of local protocol requirements.  In addition, sources premier executive gifts, goods and services.
  • Relevant Job Requirements: Demonstrates high aptitude for coordinating high level executive events with deference to cultural protocols. Must possess inherent refinement, impeccable taste, and demonstrate an unwavering commitment to excellence.  Because this position coordinates and assists with travel and events for high level executives and Saudi Arabian Government officials, diplomacy, tact, and demeanor are essential prerequisites.
  • Office Administration: Coordinates use of ASC executive office space, conference facilities and provides administrative support to visiting SAO Corporate and Executive Management, CEO, Chairman and Board.  Maintains fully stocked catering facilities in order to respond to executive requests and events.
  • Administrative Requirements: Maintains accurate records and accounting of meeting and travel expenses.  Reconciles all invoices and expense reports for the ES Team.  Assists with annual, quarterly and monthly department budget updates.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably related field of study.
  • Related experience in the hospitality (hotel or catering) industry preferred.  Administrative Assistant experience to executive level management preferred.
  • Knowledge of latest technologies for virtual meetings, communications, meeting management and hospitality for high-level international executives.
  • Knowledge of the history and culture of the Middle East preferred.
  • Ability to:
    • Display tact, diplomacy, discretion, and good judgement.
    • Plan own work, handle many diverse tasks simultaneously and work effectively and efficiently with interruptions and meet deadlines.
    • Effectively interact and communicate with all levels, internally and externally.
    • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills with excellent vocabulary, and grammar befitting high level executive communications.
    • Emphasis on the ability to anticipate needs, comprehension of the larger picture, and ability to quickly adapt to change.
    • Independently compose written communications and develop presentation slides and spreadsheets befitting high level executive presentations.
    • Research and respond to inquiries regarding issues and problems and ensure timely follow up and resolution with little or no oversight.
    • Proficient with business software and smart phone applications.
  • Typically, 5-7 years of hospitality/travel/meeting industry experience and/or progressively more responsible administrative experience supporting executive level management.
  • Must be customer service oriented willing to provide the highest level of service and able to comprehend and communicate accurately, clearly and concisely in English.
