Plastic Bag Manufacturing company located in Sugarland is seeking a full-time accountant Mon – Friday 8am to 5 pm

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have a positive, “can-do” attitude, eager to learn and grow
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and project management oriented
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Must be competent in prioritizing and working with little supervision
  • Must be self-motivated and trustworthy
  • Bachelor’s degree required
    • Accounting: 1 year (Preferred)
    • Accounts Payable/Receivable: 1 year (Preferred)
    • Account reconciliation: 1 year (Preferred)
    • Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)

This position will be responsible for accounting functions including the recording of business transactions, key daily worksheets to the general ledger system, Reconciles monthly bank and credit card statements, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Income/Balance Sheet, Sales Tax and Monthly Closing.
