DESCRIPTION

The Digital Communication Advisor will work as a generalist on the Brand and Digital Communications team.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Creating and publishing key marketing materials for website pages, social media posts, blog articles, video scripts and presentations – sometimes with same day turnaround to ensure of-the-moment relevance
  • Telling the story of the Phillips 66 Corporate brand and bring to life our vision – Providing Energy. Improving Lives. – across social and digital channels
  • Developing creative brief(s) to support key Corporate Brand narratives
  • Translating website and social performance data into actionable insights leading to optimization across platforms and processes
  • Possessing passion about the intersection of brand and digital communications with emphasis on short form storytelling and engaging “snackable” content
  • Assisting communications leaders in developing and executing strategic communication plans and programs
  • Sourcing, developing and managing production of engaging, relevant content and messaging using various forms of communication including written, visual and digital
  • Owning and optimizing key channels to reach corporate stakeholders
  • Collaborating with other communicators to align local and enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Monitoring and interpreting metrics, such as campaign results, stakeholder feedback, and web analytics to help develop new programs and improve existing methods
  • Delivering solid, measurable results with global impact
  • Distilling, organizing, and integrating complex information into clear, concise formats for the website
  • Proofreading supplied content for layout, grammar, and spelling
  • Collaborating with internal and external groups to generate needed content
  • Ability to liaison with internal clients and external agencies to obtain all requirements, assets, and approvals

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Basic/Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 3 or more years of experience in Communications, Marketing, or a related function
  • Experience with web publishing and social media platforms

Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or Advertising
  • Strong writing and proofreading skills
  • Adept with video production, scripting and editing
  • Experience with graphic design
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Strong time management and can efficiently work under time pressures and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-driven and the ability to work independently
  • Possess creative, strategic, and critical thinking skills
  • Results-oriented attitude
