Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate empty equipment within the region
    • Container and chassis repositioning
    • Off Hire of equipment
    • Empty rail billing
    • Update empty moves
  • Process invoices for the above activities
  • Process new truckers interchange agreements and update insurance certificates
  • Assist as need container M&R and vessel operations
  • Research and recommend truck rates for empty drayage
  • Monitor equipment levels and aging for maximum utilization
  • Build strong customer service bonds with internal customers and promote a teamwork environment
  • All other functions as directed by management

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 2 -5 years experience preferred
  • College degree preferred
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Word and Outlook email applications
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to handle large volume of customer inquiries
  • Ability to respond quickly to customer requests
  • Ability to work in a team environment

 

Minimum Qualifications

Education and/or Equivalent Experience:

  • Associate’s degree
  • 2-5 years experience in equipment operations preferred
