Objectives of the Position: As an ambassador of Jesus Christ, the Operations Manager, at the direction of
the Executive Director, has the responsibility for ensuring all routine operations of the Center occur in an effective and professional manner. Major duties include development and implementation of efficient
operational procedures, including financial and systems operations, policies and procedures, safety and
security of the staff and volunteers and assistance with planning and execution of major initiatives.

Reports to: Executive Director
Supervises: Volunteers who assist with special projects
Status: Non-Exempt, Full-time

Qualifications:
• Committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord
• Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and sexual purity
• Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith and policies of Options for Life Pregnancy Care Center (the Center)
• Possess a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a business-related field
• Have experience in general operations and management of a business/ministry function (pregnancy care organization preferred)
• Have experience with accounting and financial procedures, strong analytical and reporting skills
• Be proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office products and experience using Social Media and
other stand-alone systems such as Quick Books and eGiving
• Exhibit excellent planning, implementation and organizational skills, strong detail orientation
• Possess good communication and relationship building skills
• Be able to provide spiritual leadership, discipleship, and support to volunteers and staff
• Be a self-starter; able to carry out responsibilities with little direction as well as multitasking

Core Responsibilities:
• Perform general accounting procedures of the Center: entering, maintaining, and balancing accounts, payment of bills and financial analysis; generate financial statements for Board of Directors and tax purposes; assist with vendor contract negotiation as requested
• Handle donations ensuring they are recorded and deposited; generate donor receipts and yearend statements; update donor records as needed
• Generate ad hoc financial reports and other assigned research and analysis for the Executive Director; serve as back-up payroll processor, tracking PTO balances and 990 hours allocations
• Compile monthly and annual donor letters as well as periodic mailings as identified by the Executive Director

Assist with planning and implementation of Annual Operating Plan, including fundraising events and special projects; partner with the Community Outreach Coordinator to track outcomes for fundraising events
• Serve as system administrator (secondary to the Executive Director) and perform primary inhouse troubleshooting of all systems; assist with staff training on systems as required
• Formulate and revise operational policies and procedures necessary for consistent operation, with Executive Director approval
• Serve as Center Safety Coordinator, work with the Executive Director to ensure emergency procedures are up to date and actionable by volunteers and staff; evacuation maps are current and posted where easily identifiable
• Compile and/or update forms, files, manuals, and job aids as advised by the Executive Director
• With Executive Director, maintain appropriate supplies of all Center office and housekeeping supplies
• Serve as a member of the Banquet Committee, assisting with planning and execution of the plan
• Compile and distribute monthly Board of Directors packet, maintain Center copy for recordkeeping
• Serve as a member of the Staff Text Support Team by being on call as needed, serve as system administrator and ensure timely reporting of texting activity levels
• Provide peer counseling and services for clients when volunteers are not available
• Perform as back-up to Community Outreach Coordinator as needed including fundraising and Social Media responsibilities
• Be a team player, ready and willing to help when asked to perform “extra” duties to ensure Options
runs smoothly
• Other duties as assigned
