- Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Energy/Engineering/Computer Science/Business Administration or similar field
- 5+ years in program management, project management, product management role in energy and utilities industry
- 2+ years of experience with business intelligence platforms, automation, or designing and building data analytics tools

The AWS Infrastructure Energy Team is looking for a talented individual to manage high-impact renewable energy programs across Amazon’s global data centers. The candidate will help AWS manage a portfolio of power projects for its data center infrastructure and march toward its goal of powering its sites with 100% renewable energy. The candidate will work collaboratively with stakeholders from AWS Infrastructure teams to facilitate contract execution, drive process improvement projects, and support business development initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and organizational skillsets with a passion for producing high-quality work. This position involves direct contact with senior leaders and business partners. A successful candidate will have a professional demeanor and be able to communicate effectively with people at every level, both internally and externally. Specific Responsibilities Include: • Manage AWS datacenters’ global renewable energy power procurement programs • Support design of new power procurement strategies to minimize cost, risk, and enable renewable integration • Drive process improvement projects to streamline execution of energy procurement activities • Design metrics for existing and new energy programs globally by collaborating with senior Energy Procurement Managers, Finance business partners, and AWS senior leaders • Plan and deliver on a roadmap, defining new features to meet emerging customers’ needs • Lead development of reporting, insights which distill complex data into actionable insights to drive business strategy
- Masters or MBA in related field
- 2+ years of experience in data analytics, financial models, and advanced proficiency in Excel
- Proven experience leading initiatives related to renewables or sustainability projects, power procurement, infrastructure development, or data center planning
- Proven experience diving deep into data, existing processes, people, and systems in order to simplify complex processes
- Proven track record partnering with business owners to understand requirements, developing analysis to solve their business problems, and collaborating cross-functionally to deliver results
- Proven ability to interface successfully with senior leadership, suppliers, and customers
- Excellent speaking-listening-writing skills and attention to details
- Be a passionate self-starter
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
- Meets/exceeds Amazon’s leadership principles requirements for this role
