About the Job

As Sr. Principal Development Planning Specialist you will lead development planning studies across a range of onshore/offshore Energy projects in Hydrocarbon sectors. Knowledge of  carbon capture, Hydrogen, Biofuels, Wind etc would be a plus. You will lead the development of the technical definition, Technology selection, Cost estimate (Class 4/5), economic analysis for a study, and interact effectively with clients to assure satisfaction.  Will work in a multidisciplinary study/project environment where communication with other discipline engineers and organizational management is key to success.

About You

We’d love to hear from you if your profile meets the following essential requirements:

  • Engineering Degree; Chemical Engineering or related field
  • 10-20 years’ experience within the oil and gas E&P Industry (both projects and operations preferred)
  • 5-10 years in project development planning, cost estimation
  • 5-10 years as study/engineering/small project manager
  • 3-5 years as a Process Engineer,
  • Prior experience in consulting business would be preferred.
  • Relevant industry publications preferred

  • Experience in project planning and management
  • Practical understanding of project economics
  • Strong technical writing and presentation skills
  • Effective time-management skills
  • Workshop facilitation skills
