Our Structural Team in North Texas is looking for a Structural Building Information Modeling (BIM) Designer, to join our team and work on projects of extremely large capacity that encompasses a multi-disciplinary approach. Many of our clients have large campus like undertakings that transcend design and innovation. We want you to be excited about cutting edge projects that impact the world.
As we continue to experience exciting growth within our established practice, we need you as a talented Structural BIM Designer to assist on several of our structural engineering building projects. You will provide production support for these projects using Revit, including preparation of structural Revit models, engineering drawings of plans, elevations, cross sections and details of building structures from rough sketches and/or from general engineering design information according to established standards and procedures.
Typical duties will include:
Technology-related activities associated with the use of BIM
Participate in project-based BIM Strategy development
Day-to-day project support and coordination of structural requirements with Architect and other Engineering disciplines
Provides BIM production support for Structural Engineering teams; including project model setup, development of parametric families and parametric content, primary discipline project work, and deliverable setup.
Ensures the BIM Model adheres to all internal and client specific goals and standards.
Performs drafting assignments, requiring advanced working knowledge of design/drafting standards, practices and techniques.
Works collaboratively in a team environment with other BIM/CAD Technicians and Engineers.
Actively promotes and contributes to the successful completion of projects.
Assumes responsibility and meets or exceeds deliverable deadlines for own portion of the project scope, schedule and budget.

Here’s What You’ll Need:
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Previous BIM experience in Structural Buildings Infrastructure arena
- Revit skills
Ideally You’ll Have:
- An Associates’ degree in Design, Drafting, or BIM technology
- Previous experience in the use of AutoCAD and MicroStation
