Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Masters Degree preferred.
An advanced degree or additional relevant work experience resulting in acceptable proficiency levels in the above knowledge, skills and abilities may be substituted in lieu of specific education or exempt-level experience requirements.
Relatable Work Experience:
- Minimum of ten years of experience in engineering design and construction. Must have at least 3 years’ supervisory experience.
- Experience in a municipal government is highly preferred.
Training (License and/or Certification):
- Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas or the ability to obtain by reciprocity within twelve (12) months.
- Valid Class “C” Texas Drivers License.
