I.  POSITION INFORMATION
 JOB TITLE Coordinator  DEPARTMENT  Import Customer Service
 REPORTS TO Helen Lee DIVISION/REGION  MWE Region
LOCATION Houston, TX  GRADE  2
HOURS REQUIREMENTS 7.5 hours per day/37.5 per week  

STATUS

 EXEMPT  NON-EX  PART TIME
OVERTIME REQUIREMENTS As is necessary X
SUMMARY (Complete the following sentence: The purpose of this position is:)

Process TP East Bound IPI cargo into the Gulf Region.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES 

  • Sending arrival notices
  • Collecting OBL and misc. charges
  • Monitoring Customs clearance
  • Releasing of IPI shipments by rail Hubs
  • Coordinating door deliveries
  • Follow through of correction advice
  • Perform tasks relating to General Order
  • Communication with clients and vendors
  • Building strong customer service bonds with both internal and external customers and promoting a teamwork environment.
  • All other functions as directed by management
 POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS (To be fully competent in the job)
     1. SPECIAL SKILLS (Computer training, quality training, special programs)
        Literacy in computer usage: E-mail and MS Word software.  Hazmat certified.
     2. PREFERRED EDUCATION
College, preferred but not required.
     3. WORK EXPERIENCE (Years of experience in the industry and functional area)
        Preferred but not required.
