Technical Designer

PBK is searching for a Technical Designer to join our Houston team. The Technical Designer is responsible for producing high quality construction documents. The Technical Designer can work in all phases of a project, including Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction Administration. The Technical Designer will report to the Production Director.

Project Architect

The Project Architect is responsible for producing high quality construction documents per PBK Standards. The Project Architect will participate in all phases of the project, including Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documents and Construction Administration. The Project Architect reports to the Project Manager and is responsible for the performance of the production team working underneath him or her. The Project Architect will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure timely projects completion within budget constraints in accordance PBK’s quality and client service standards.

Principal Specialist – IT Network Architecture *

This position has the responsibility for the design, maintenance, troubleshooting and administration of the organization’s production network infrastructure. The person in this position will work closely with members of the IT staff to ensure very high levels of network availability, security and efficiency. They will serve as the technical resource for network production operations support and relevant projects.

AECC EQC Coordinator – Temp to Direct Hire *

The Equipment management coordinator receives guidelines and instructions from Manager and AVP of Equipment Management team and assists the manager/AVP with preparation of contract negotiations with chassis provider, depot operators, and equipment related service providers.  The coordinator is responsible for planning and executing container repositions by vessel and rail.  The coordinator is responsible for filing contracts, registering rates, collecting various reports, analyzing data, identifying cost cutting initiatives, and implementing cost cutting measures.

EXPORT BOOKING COORDINATOR – EC– Temp to Direct Hire *

DUTIES/FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

–  Follow booking procedure to make export bookings out of East Coast region

–   Check booking routing for East Coast region loading when needed

–   Check service contract for rate/routing/sales and pricing contact info

Director of Finance

The Director of Finance is under the direction of the Chief Appraiser. This position is responsible for providing financial services in an accurate, efficient, ethical, and innovative manner by building a bond of trust in accordance with best-recognized practices and principles of governmental finance. The Director will manage and direct the financial information systems for the District by preparing financial reports that analyze the cost of district operations and revenues generated; coordinates the compilation of fiscal information to outline the District’s financial position for fund disbursements, interest earnings, and projected revenues based upon past, present, and future operations.

Duties, Functions and Responsibilities:

Sending arrival notices
Collecting OBL and misc. charges
Monitoring Customs clearance
Releasing of IPI shipments by rail Hubs
Coordinating door deliveries
Follow through of correction advice
Perform tasks relating to General Order 
Communication with clients and vendors
Building strong customer service bonds with both internal and external customers and promoting teamwork environment.
All other functions as directed by management
